It mainly adopts air transportation to accelerate delivery speed, with an average delivery time of 1 to 8 days depending on the distance to the destination.
This service enjoys priority processing rights in customs, aviation, and other departments. It delivers international and domestic urgent letters, documents, financial bills, product samples, and other documents and items for users with high speed and quality. EMS also has other meanings, including Electromagnetic Suspension, Environmental Management System, Engine Management System, etc.
The provider of this service is China Post Express & Logistics Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of China Post Group Corporation. It mainly operates international and domestic EMS express services, and is the earliest supplier of express services in China and the largest operator in China's express industry. The company has nearly 10,000 employees nationwide, and its EMS business covers all cities and counties in China, extending to Asian regions.
The EMS express service was launched in 1980, with its business volume growing year by year and its service types constantly enriched.
